The Man That Changed My World

Hugh Jackman

You will find out why:

Anne Hathaway was amazing! And I was so happy that he put Slumdog Millionaire in the song!I was like 'wth?' when he said milk.

Vanessa ruined everything. Just by being there. I don't know why,her presence just made it all less soulful. But I didn't mind Amanda Seyfield and Beyonce at all.

I didn't actually watch the Oscars but of course I 'youtube-ed' it and wish I had a chance to watch it. The Oscars this year sounds amazing! And I am so watching Wolverine when it comes out.

Ooh, aaand, I've finished reading Watchmen! The first one anyways. Graphic novels are like the best reading materials EVER. I'm gonna start reading more!

I've also been reading The Mortal Instruments which is a series of books. I've already finished the first one, City of Bones and now I'm on City of Ashes. It's such a good series! And I've found out it's actually quite popular and there's a lot of videos on youtube about it. They used Alexz Johnson as Clary and Alex Pettyfer as Jace (SO HOTT).

I also watched Stormbreaker on Youtube because I just realized that I've never watched it even though I've read the book. And it was okay-ish. A couple of the characters were really weird and a little too disney-villain-ish, although I did like Jack. And Alex was super cute, but it really bugs me that he looks so young in that movie but so old in Wild Child. Not that I've watched it, just seen him in some clips of the movie.

And now, back to Watchmen. Mathew Goode, they guy playing Rosarch is so freaking young and skinny to play Veidt! Although he got the good-looking part alright. In some parts of the film (I watched some scenes), you can tell he had a bit of a British accent. And Patrick Wilson looks so much like Dan! I didn't think he could pull it off but he did, after putting on a few pounds. And I like how Dr. Manhattan turned out. He's so buff. And cute. And blue.

omg, so many images I have posted.

Just Like A Circus: Burgeble

I hate crying, it makes me feel like there's chlorine in my nose for the next three days. Not pleasant. I've been meaning to do a birthday post for Dina but I was too emo for the past week and it won't do her birthday post justice with all my miserable-ness. Funny enough, Sarah's surprise partay was on the same day as Dina's birthday. I didn't want to ruin it with my emo-ness but Astrid dragged me out of the house. And um I went to the desert with Fatin's family and my own on the same day. But will update on that later!
ANYWAYS:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DINA!!

SPONGEBOB CAKE

CATERPILLAR CAKE. Because it looks yummy.

I miss you soooo much!I hope you had an awesome b-day without me! I remember when Dayah and Anis and me surprised you by turning up at your house last year :P. Nearly gave you a heart attack. I'll give you a pressie when I go back to M'sia in summer!

Zomg, I just realised, DINA'S 17!!SHE CAN DRIVE. My baby is growing up.

Oh and I just check out Watchmen from the library. It is aaawesooome. I didn't know graphic novels can be so addictive. It's like watching a movie, but in still pictures.

And UGH. Britney Spears's song is stuck in my head.

Torn

I DO NOT HAVE ANY SENSE OF DIRECTION FOR MY FUTURE.

I am torn between majoring in law and majoring in science. I'm pretty interested in both, only I think I will get less bored with law than science. My mom thinks I should be in law because she thinks that's the type of person I am or something while my dad said I can do better than law, so I should do science. Everybody is so set on what they want to be except ME.

I am extremely annoyed. Actually I've been extremely annoyed at some people today. I felt like shouting unintelligent stuff, make empty threats and throw stuff. Last time I felt like this I nearly threw a lamp at my brother. Unfortunately my dad came into the room.

One of those people I'm annoyed at today was Mrs. Painter. I am sorry, I know her intentions are good and I am one of the few people that she normally praises in class (because I'm quiet and all) and is very nice too, but I am so sick of her teaching methods. She's 68 years old, people starts losing their memory at 65. And being old makes her very touchy in a way that makes her so defensive when a student questions her teaching method or doesn't pay attention that she will punish in the most ridiculous ways. She thinks she can just punish sophomore students as if they were kindergarten kids.

That's not even half of what I think of her teaching methods but I'm not gonna rant because I already did that to my parents. My mom said she might complain to Mr. Bouderou, the guy in charge of the student body or something.

And I will never read Julius Caeser the same way again. Brian got me thinking of sick thoughts whenever I read it.

Brian: You know what's the best way to read this? Just think of them in a sick way, you know American Pie? Yeah just like that.
Mrs. Painter: So what can you tell is happening here? What does Flavius mean by 'they vanish tongue-tied in their guiltiness'?
Brian: SEE!
*both bursts out laughing*
*some other people laughed because Brian made this funny laughing noise*
Mrs. Painter: EXCUSE ME! What is going on here??
Brian: Um, nothing, I was just explaining to her about something here.*points to book*

After she noticed me not paying attention she asked me a question which I couldn't answer.
The scary part was that I actually DID thought of something sick when she said 'tongue-tied'! And that word isn't even an obvious sexual innuendo.

My Dear Rayray

BEHOLD: my son that I and my lesbian partner, Sheena, has reproduced.

RAYRAY LEON HAZANAN

Can't you see the resemblance?

We had a 'Let's Make a Baby' assignment in Bio. One of the funnest one everr. Both mom and dad(me :D) had to flip a coin to determine which allele we have to give to our baby and the combined allele will determine gender and each facial features and then we had to draw him.
Even though he is really ugly and has a butt chin, I will love my child for who he is!!
I named him after Ray Toro! Just because his name is awesooome and I want my kid to grow up to be an awesome guitar player. I drew his hair based on Kim Bum's sexy hairstyle and his mouth based on Gaspard Ulliel's oh-so-sexy lips and dimples. The Leon part was Sheena's idea.

I just have one thing to tell you my dear Rayray: son, when, you grow up, will you be the savior of the broken? The beaten and the damned? Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?because one day I'll leave you, a phantom to lead you in the summer, to join the black parade.

I just happened to be listening to that song right now.

Hallmark Day

Because I feel it's appropriate:

and because I have an affinity for cats (vocab word!):

I don't see anything special about V-day. I don't get it! Ah well, at least they sell really good cupcakes and cookies.

Woah, this is a very short post.

If I Was an Eggplant

Omg, omg, omg, I asked the nice lady at the library if they have Watchmen graphic novel and she said yes! They just came in and haven't even been unpacked yet! BRAND NEW. So she told me to come back next week when all of the graphic novels will be unpacked. Sadly, since I know just a little bit about the novel, I think I kinda know what's gonna happen in the movie and who's the bad guy and all.

I just watched Slumdog Millionaire at Maria's. One of the best movies I've ever seen! I had no idea that Dev Patel was such a great actor. I mean judging by his skills in Skins, he didn't seem like he could act but the movie completely changed my mind! The movie also made me realized how sad the lifestyle in some parts of India is. It made me want to save India when I get rich enough. Maria and Jessica laughed at me when I told them that. Such supportive friends I have.

Oh and Dev Patel is also going to play Zuko in The Last Airbender! I would have preferred a um, hotter Zuko but at least it's not Jesse McCartney. And M. Night Shyamalam is directing it, which is...weird. Because he normally directs creepy movies. But one good thing out of it is that Jackson Rathbone is definitely playing Sakka. But I've never seen the comedic side of him yet. So I guess it will be a love it or hate it movie for me?

Why do I keep reviewing movies in my blog? I feel like such a dork. Maybe it's because there's nothing going on in my life. Hahahaha.

And geez, young Asseff is pretty cute in The Kite Runner. Why do people laugh at me when I point this out? Just because he's a 12-14 year old rapist, doesn't mean he can't be hott!

A few people actually told me this past week that they had/want to kill themselves. But they should appreciate their lives and not do such things when there are starving kids in Africa eating sand! And yes, THEY DO EAT SAND. Maria laughed at me when I said this, claiming that nobody would eat sand. But I read an article about it!...somewhere.

In the Mix, the worse.movie.ever. Usher can't act for a piece of used hanky. And I didn't know Italian mafias can't insult properly. One of them called Usher an eggplant. Usher must be shaking now, being compared to an eggplant and all. Just imagine, being all purple and long and bendy with those green thingies on top of your head and you don't even resemble an egg, or a plant. Life as an eggplant. Must be a long one. I'm glad I'm not an eggplant.

And ZOMG. This guy in my art class has a super awesome accent! At first someone told me that he was South African but then somebody else told me that he was Australian. And after I heard him said 'krikey that water is hot' and 'pass me that paper would you mate?' and 'Ms. Ritt-uh?(when it should be Ms. Ritter)', I've decided that he's an Aussie.

Blah

Yes, that is how I feel right now. Blah. I had a really bad day today, nothing happened it's just one of those days. And I think I'm anemic again, because I've been getting even more easily tired after each P.E class. I think it's because I've stopped eating vegetables again. But it's really not my fault that I never have any appetite for such things.

On a brighter note, this guy in my Printmaking class knows about Watchmen! One of the few in this world/school at this moment. He saw that I drew this symbol in my sketchbook and he instantly recognized it!:

Well, I couldn't get the blood part right. But I was so happy that somebody knew about it that I actually didn't fall asleep throughout the class despite my sleepiness -I had Algebra 2 after P.E- .
Not many people know about it being a graphic novel. And although I hate The Comedian, I bet I'm going to like him once I see Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing the character. He's such a cool actor. And I wish they sell the novels here so I can finish the whole series! Maybe it's in the library. *fingers crossed*

"The world will look up and shout save us and I'll whisper, no."
