Eid was today! In Qatar Eid is earlier so yay!
First we went to the Malaysian Embassy to Solat Raya. There, I found fellow Malaysian who also goes to the same school as me. And then we went to different open houses with Fatin and her family. It was nice but not as cool as the open houses in Malaysia. Oh, and no duit raya :(.
Now on another subject I made a video! It's all about Penelope the movie, cuz I think the movie (and James McAvoy) is so awesome!
I heard this song on Disney and I thought it would fit the vid. BUt Joe Jonas's voice is not man enough for James McAvoy. Oh well. Now I hate the song, after listening to it for so many times.

Arabian Nights
So I went to this thing called the Arabian Night or something at school and it was... BORING. I thought I could maybe talk to some friends of Fatin's but I ended up talking to other people. Anyways I didn't have a good time, in fact I didn't even want to go but one girl just bought a ticket for me and I had to pay her back. Anyways I got a picture of it from Facebook and I would have put more but I didn't like the others.
Even though I look kinda happy there, I was seriously wanting to go home right away.
Oh, and before the whole Arabian Night thing, two guys were 'fighting'. This girl named Maylin told me and so I was wanting to watch it because there was like a huge crowd near my locker. And it was so stupid because it didn't happen. They were just arguing.
That's me and Maylin (I don't know if I spelt her name right), watching the so-called fight. I don't even know how this picture was taken without me noticing. And I was laughing because it all looked so stupid. Then a teacher came and broke it up. But after school, I was staying back and one guy did punch the other guy in the face. I didn't get to witness it. Sigh. And the guy was bleeding just a wee bit
and then the other guy who punched him didn't want to wash his fist to prove that he actually punch a guy until he bled. Sadly both of these guys are Arabian and one of them is a muslim who occasionally breaks his fast because he can't 'stand it'. I'm not sure about the other guy but everyone says he's a freak.

Grr, Voltaire
I'm updating again because... I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL VOLTAIRE'S QUOTE MEANS!
"All murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets."
I don't get it!! And if I don't find out soon and post it on my school
s website, I'm dooomed. It's part of my grade!
Grrrr.
I hate Qatar, I hate my life, I'm gonna wear eyeliner, black clothes, listen to Marilyn Manson and give the finger to everybody I see. Okay maybe I won't, I'm too chicken to do that. And you're not allowed to give the finger in Qatar, or else you'll get deported or something. Pshh.
Anyways, I was in my room and looking out the window when I saw a bunch of kids jumping up snd down on my neighbour's trampoline and a soccer ball flew right over it. All I could think was, "Idiots". Cuz I was in a bad mood. And then later Harzan came back while I was in the kitchen and he was like:
"Hey Dianah, I was at my friend's house just now"
[Me microwaving some stuff]
"Really, cool"
"Yeah, they had a trampoline."
"That was you?"
"Yeah, and Ty. My friend"
"OH"
[Me thinking at least he wasn't stupid enough to play soccer where it can hit the windows]
"Oh and I played soccer too".
Anyways, turns out that trampoline guy is actually my friend's brother.
And I'm still surprise that there are still some people from Seksyen Nine who remembers me and add me on Myspace. And even more surprising is that some of these people who added me are the ones who I thought was kinda cute. Teehee.
Anyways, I'm sad and I feel emo. :(

A Perfect Denial
Because of popular demands - Okay, only Hanis's - I'm updatiiing! Haha, just kidding, I know i dont have a popular demand.
Emilie totally gets me. And I totally get her blog. Yeap.
I thought I was fine and that I'm not depressed and all. But the truth is I am depressed and most of all, I'm lonely. And like what the fake Dianah on the chatbox there said, I really want to go home. I would have loved the school if I just have some friends. And I dont think its really that hard to get friends here. But I'm expected to be friends with Fatin's friends, who are like probably the um 'popular and intimidating' group. And it's pretty hard for me to make friends with them. With other people, I guess it's okay.
And one of the reasons that I didnt want to go to the same school as Fatin is that we'll grow apart. I think it is possible to happen because ever since we met which was 7 years ago, we have never been in the same school together. So I didnt know what to expect. And right now I dont want to tell her all my problems because she has her own problems which are probably worse than mine.
On the other hand, yesterday during free period this guys said My Chemical Romance is emo. And I was about to retort, but I dont know. i didnt have the voice to. But this other guy defended them so I was like "Yeah! You tell him!" To myself anyway.
Anyways, this school is whacked, they have test every freaking week! And TONNES of homework. I am sooooo dreading school. And Emilie, six months? Really? I dont know if I have that much time! Anyways, I'm so into MCR again now. I mean I always have been, its just now I'm in my obsessive mode again. No idea why. But I wish Dina can be obsessive with me!

Sigh, good times, good times.

Avenging Puding
The air-shipment arrived today. And... Puding is broken. :(
This just made me more pissed, I was so looking forward to playing it. They better pay back for what they did to my baby. Anyways, for those who are crazy about the Jonas Brothers -*cough*Emily Cheah*cough*- there's one guy at my school who looks EXACTLY like Nick Jonas. I saw him at the library and would have taken a picture of him but that would be weird. I don't wanna scare the poor kid.
Anyways, besides family and friends, I am also missing my children.
Their names are -deepbreath- Maxxie, Mewie, Louie, Weasley, Jolie and Penelope.
I mish them so, :(..

Sohrab
A character from the Kite Runner. I feel more like him everyday. Although I'm less traumatic of course.
I'm online, but only because I have homework to do. Geez I'm beginning to hate everything here. I think it's something I do whenever I face big changes like this one.
Sigh, I feel weird not calling or smsing anyone.
Oh well.

Kite Runner
It's a book that I'm reading right now for my English class. I was suppose to only read it until chapter 7 but I got carried away cause it was pretty interesting. But disturbing too, some 12 year old boy raped another 12 year old boy in this book. It's weeeiiiird. And the community in this book is Islam! And the book mentioned that half of the Islamic community (in the book anyway) drinks scotch and eat pork.
Speaking of pork, Hidayah and I taught this girl some curse words in Malay because she wants to curse at someone for cheating on her or something. It was so funny when she said 'babi' and 'tahi'. Of course they don't sound like bad words once you translate them into English, but still!
Speaking of Malay, I met another Malaysian at my school. I met her at my locker, I think her name is Li Jen. I'm not sure how to spell it. There's also another Malaysian girl named Siti Sarah or something. All in all there are seven Malaysians in high school here including my brother and myself.
I'm supposed to be doing a dossier for Arab class, but I'm too lazy. I guess I'll make some excuse. I don't have a printer anyway, and I'll pretend to forget my thumb drive.
By the way, EMILIE if you're reading this you better tell me what time you'll be on. Geez girl you haven't started school yet and already you're too busy for me. Haha. I just wanna know how you're doing ;)
And again, today someone commented on my black eraser. Geez louise, is it that bizarre to have a black eraser?
Oh and that half shaved guy in my art class is now ALL shaved, YAY! Now my eyes are not watering. Who knew he was a ninth grader?

Give me a shot to remember
Highlight of my day:
*People here find it strange that I have a black eraser
*Mr. and Mrs. Painter are apparently husband and wife as opposed to my 67-year-old twins theory.
*I found another person with the same handwriting as mine :D
*The guy whom I thought was funny-looking turns out to be Fatin's friend.
*I lost my way again
*I don't like a certain ninth grader in my Arab class
*My Arab teacher thought that there's such thing as autumn in Malaysia
*Some guy in my English class looks a lot like Tony from skins only with better eyebrows.

Breaking Dawn...
SUCKS.
I don't even have the mood to finish it. It's boring, nonsensical, and poorly plotted. I don't even like Edward anymore. I mean, who actually bites a pillow while having sex and get feathers exploding out of it. And who would ask their girlfriend's admirer to convince her to let him knock her up with a half werewolf half human baby? Isn't that just as bad as a half vampire half human baby? Geez. Sorry for the spoilers.
The story also seemed like Stephenie Meyer just made it up along as she writes. The story also has a lot of sex in it, like some fan fiction written by a sixteen year old.
This is not meant to be an offense to the people who actually like the book. It's just what i think of it. I'm seriously disappointed with Stephenie Meyer.
It's not worth reading.

Not the best day of my life
Today was my first day of school. >< . It wasn't yesterday because I came late so I had to register today. It turned out I'm in Grade 10! Because it's more beneficial for me, which I did agree on. Sorry Emilie, :(. Guess we cannot go to uni together.
My first period was English and the moment I met the teacher I hated her already because she just had that LOOK. And after that I had even more reason to hate her because she asked me if I wanted to introduce myself which I politely declined and THEN, she rolled her eyes at me when I did not understand what she was saying. Oh and my algebra teacher is related to her - I think - and he's boring but he seems nice.
Anyway after Fatin found out I was in her grade, she helped me out, helping me to find my classes and pushing me into her friends so I had somebody to talk to. I couldn't even find my locker, let alone the classes. I don't know what I would have done without her. I met some people in different classes whose names I forgot, thankfully not all of them. OH and Dina, my art teacher's name is DINA. But she doesn't look anything like you, haha. And the higlight of my day was when I saw this guy in my art class with a half shaved head. It was WEIRD. Me and Hidayah felt like taking the scissors and cutting it all off. Hidayah is from Malaysia too, apparently we've met in America before. :]
And I know I said I would post my add. today but I'm still not sure what it is.
What I know so far is : No. 97, Bamboo Street, Pearl Nine.
Yeah, that's all, xD.

Sandcastles without the sand
I'm in Qatar now and I got internet! YAY.
On the plane, I watched Indiana Jones 4, FINALLY! Now my life is almost complete, I just have to watch The Dark Knight, and Twilight, and Harry Potter. Oh and Sex and the City is dead boring, the only interesting part was when the dog was humping a pillow.
And, and as soon as I got off the plane, I felt the heat wave, and it was only 6 a.m! i think I could see the heat wave too. Or maybe I was just sleepy. But anyway, the point is it was HOT. Here are random pictures I took on the way to the new house.
At the Qatar airport, everyone has to ride in the bus from the airplane to the airport even though it was only 3 seconds away because it was so hott.
Um, I'm still not sure what my house add. is but I know my house number is 97, xD.

Clock is tick-tocking
Okay, it's 1.44 a.m right now and I'm in the lounge at the airport. Too full to eat anything, but thank God they have internet. Eeep, I'm so nervous..because it still hasn't sank in yet that I'm moving tonight, or today. whatever. GASP, I'll be in QATAR in 10 hours! Okay, nope, still hasn't sunk in yet. This is exactly how i felt when I left Cahaya to go to Nine. Is that a good thing?
Dina, Aisyah and Emz called to say goodbye, :( ...
Geez, I won't get to see anyone until Dec. Except for Emilie, I won't see her until June! Oh and thanks for the frame guys, I still haven't got it but I know I was suppose to a few hours ago. That is so sweet :D, Emilie said she'll mail it to me once both of us find out what my address there is.
And on an unrelated topic, I just watched Dukes of Hazard three times at the hotel. I now feel like talking like Jessica Simpson.

YIPPEE, I have internet again. I can't use the internet at home because it's packed already so I have to use the hotel one.
Anyways, I managed to download my firework pictures now! Although they're not very clear.
They're from Aisyah ;)
