To Change the World.

Ryan Hreljac.

I have to blog about this guy.

Today, we had an assembly during Flex time (when you're supposed to see teachers about work and stuff but nobody actually does it) because of the Global Issues Club. This 17 year-old guy from Canada came to talk about his foundation. He started it when he was 9 and was inspired when he was 6. He explained a lot of stuff and he was quite funny too. I can't really remember much what he said about himself, but I caught that he likes playing football/rugby and is a fan of Toronto Raptors. Not sure what that is, but I remember it because Emilie mentioned it in her blog.

When he was 6 years old, he did a lot of house chores to raise $70 to donate to a foundation so that they'll build a well in Africa so the people there would get clean water. But then he found out that you actually need $2000 to build a well, so I think after that he started doing public speaking to motivate people to donate. And sometime later he went to Africa when he was 9 to have a look at the well that he built. He also met his pen-pal buddy there, Jimmy and his family adopted him and brought him back to Canada. It was sweet that he introduced him as 'my brother, Jim'.

Then somewhere along the way, he went on Oprah's show and so it got some people's attention and he started his own foundation:

I would definitely donate as soon as I find out how. And after I start saving my money xD.

Oh, and this guy has met Matt Damon too!

I like Matt Damon.

There was another guy from Ethiopia, couldn't catch his name because he only got like 10 minutes to speak because school already ended. Or else I would have written more about him. But he's part of an organization called ACET. He joined it because when he was younger this company donated $15 a month for him to go to school and what not. And so when he became older he created EYES.

I tried googling it but nothing really came up. Not for EYES I mean.

Both of these guys had a talk with the middle-schoolers too, including my sister, during their lunch time. My sister told me that Ryan was signing autographs for them in the cafeteria and seemed like a normal guy. He didn't seem arrogant or anything and was talking and laughing with the kids.

It's funny to actually see someone who has met Oprah. I would like to meet Oprah.

FML

I did not dream of making out with Frank Iero.

Instead I had a super long dream about my friends throwing me the worst surprise birthday party ever. No kidding. They had a DJ to choreograph dance steps for my party and my cousins were the dancers.

I woke up in between and when I fell back asleep, the dream continued where it left off.

The End is Nigh: Spoilers!

Read at your own risk. Actually there really isn't any spoilers that I wrote. But you can't really trust my judgment... so yeah, read at your own risk.

YES. I have finally watch WATCHMEN. I watched it today with Sarah and Maria. It was amazing! It followed the book exactly and all the characters were perfect! They even look like the ones in the book. I was a little disappointed with Malin Akerman. She didn't play the part well, and although I did kinda find Silk Spectre 2 a little annoying in the book, she's even more annoying in the movie. She couldn't even cry properly and that whole scene looked like a joke. When she was about to shoot Veidt was also lame. The way she said the line was funny.
It should have been "Veidt, you asshole" but she said "you're such an asshole". YES, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

Matthew Goode played Veidt better than I expected! He's such a babe! And he's British too, which is always a plus...I think.

The fight scenes were a little more brutal than I expected. More bloodied. You can definitely tell that it was the work of the director who also directed 300.

I am definitely going to buy the DVD and watch the whole thing again!

I have to say, the guy who played Rorshach, Jackie Earle Haley, was amazing! He was the perfect Rorsarch!Jeffrey Dean Morgan played The Comedian well too. He even looks like him! And Patrick Wilson was a perfect Night Owl. Although he had to put on a few pounds for the character he still looks kinda hott, especially after he had sex with Silk Spectre 2. The guy who played Dr. Manhattan, Billy Crudup, was okay. For some reason Dr. Manhattan looked really cute to me in the movie. The part when he was examining the bra was funnier than it's supposed to be.

I just realized that they didn't put in the scene when the first Night Owl got killed by some gangsters. But oh well, I guess it wasn't really important anyway.

But the annoying thing was the cinema kept cutting the scenes when Dr. Manhattan was naked. It's not that I wanted to see his package,(I've already seen it in the book, it's awfully small, it was kinda funny to look at)but Dr. Manhattan says a lot of important stuff in those scenes! It is not his fault he feels uncomfortable in human clothes.

And the picture above, I caught it in between scenes so many times! I was so excited.

Ooh and MyChem's cover of Desolation Row was played only at the end of the movie. I really thought it was gonna be in the movie because Gerard Way said that it was played during an important scene. Oh well.

I'm sleepy. I'm going to dream of making out with the REAL Frank Iero. Maria claimed that she dreamt she made out with 'Frank' last night. Pfft, not even in her dreams! That was clearly an imposter of Frank Iero.

Becoming A Stripper is So In

Today we had no school, so me, my lovely lovely dad and sister went to the Museum of Islamic Arts for my art assignment. It was...interesting. I learnt a lot.

Okay, now, for the highlight of my day...I had a threesome! With Sarah and Maria. Under the duvet covers in my guest bedroom. I even have a video recording of Sarah having an orgasm. The threesome was almost half as good as the fivesome I usually have with Frank, James Mcavoy and Kim Bum. The fifth person is still a mystery.

What happens under the covers, stays under the covers.

Sarah was forced to be in this picture. Bubbles came out of nowhere.

And wow, Sarah practically gave this kid a fucking nightmare. He'll be clutching his balls at night while trying to figure out what all those British and biology-related words mean. Serves him right for being such an ass. And if all that isn't even true, he's a bigger ass for making such a pathetic excuse to hate his life.

It's pretty obvious that he got scared after the first terrorizing because it suddenly 'disappeared'. But that was not enough to keep us away.

It made me laugh. A lot. Well at first it made me angry but of course, after the terrorizing, it felt much better.

On another note, I'm going to Fatihah's tonight to rape her cats discuss about our plans to go for Umrah. Well the parents will do the discussing, we'll just be doing the chilling.

And who would have known that stripping originated from Indonesia. I didn't. This European lady, who calls herself Mata Hari was in Java for a while and learnt the ways of stripping and then entertained the European soldiers with it during World War 1. While stripping for the troops, she secretly became a spy and got beheaded for it.

Strippers shouldn't multi-task like that, they'll get caught. Just watch Bangkok Dangerous.

Nerd Day.

Sexyy.

Today was the day when everyone was supposed to dress up like a nerd for spirit week. I did not. Because I didn't feel like it. But I did wear this collared shirt that can be nerd-ified if I feel like it and I brought Cahaya skirt because it does look nerdy. It turned out I didn't feel like dressing up so I gave the skirt to Astrid. Sheila and Adam looked like cool emo-nerds. They had cool emo-hair. We also had a prep rally. I don't know if I spelled that right but whatever. It wasn't that bad considering what some people told me. They were just bringing out the sports teams representing the school.I did enjoy watching some of the volunteers get dizzy after spinning around with the baseball bat and the gummy worm - bobbing. They had to take gummy worms out of whipped cream.I think Sarah was drooling at the thought of eating those. But she probably wont take them out, she would just eat them all up in one bite.Hahahahaha.

And today was my mom's birthday! She turns 49 this year.We all (except for Harzan) went out to Landmark yesterday to buy the pressies. We bought her lots of scented stuff because she loves those and I made her a card with lots of pictures.

OH, today was weird. Because Doha's weather is crazy. For some reason it was super windy and cold today even though it has been hot for a couple of weeks now.So that's why we didn't get to play Ultimate Frisbee during PE today which is what we're learning this month. Instead, we played different types of tag and dodge ball with the sixth graders indoors. They didn't stand a chance of course even with the two coaches helping them. And I saw this kid that looks EXACTLY like this other kid on youtube! The one that looks like mini Ray Toro!I found out through Bob on the MyChem blog.

Only they have different hair colors.

The photo that Ray posted after seeing Bob's post.
