My first non-lyrical title in a while!
It was a pretty hectic day yesterday. I told my parents I wanted to go to Hyatt Plaza to buy Astrid her birthday present at around 2 pm. My parents had to go to Fatihah's house for this Islamic talk at 3 and they didn't want to be late so they told me that maybe I should buy the present tomorrow instead. But the thing is she already bought my present and I'd feel so bad if she's gives my present at the party and I don't have hers. So I insisted that we go out right then, so we did. After we bought the present, my dad was making a turn at the parking lot. I guess he was in a rush because he looked to his right and left pretty quickly. And when he made that turn, this car just rammed into ours.
My dad maybe should have looked to his right longer, but the other car was driving seriously fast. Even the witnesses said so. But the driver and passenger were Qatari guys, so being the Qataris that they are, they blamed it on my dad. Even though they didn't look that pissed when they looked at their car damage. I'm not surprised though, I'm pretty sure they have enough money to buy another five that looks alike. All Qataris are rich. When I got out of the car to take a look at it, I was just like "what the hell!!" to the Qatari guys. It's a good thing they didn't understand English, or else I would have gotten into a big trouble.Qatari's can slap you in the face and get away with it.
My mom called some Exxon people, and they said since it had Qataris involved, we better not argue with them because they can do so much worse like deporting us.
As much as I hate the weather here, I really don't wanna get deported because the schooling system in Malaysia really sucks.
My mom hit her head and knee pretty hard because the car crashed into her side. I didn't hit anything, but my collarbone and shoulder hurt a little and one side of my teeth felt all shaky. My mom said the same thing about hers too. My dad didn't feel anything though.
But it's all gooood, we didn't get SEVERELY injured or anything.
The only thing we're worried about now is the money. Since my dad was blamed for it, his insurance company would have to pay for both damages. and if the cost is more than 10,000 Riyals, the case would have to go to court, and my dad would have to pay.
Some people would probably feel guilty if they were in my position because I was the one who insisted on going out to buy a present, but I think that's bullshit. If Allah wants us to get into a car accident, we'll get into a car accident. It's not as if I was forcing my parents to go out. I asked them. And if I should be blamed, they should be blamed too because they kept delaying me wanting to buy Astrid's present so many times. My dad is really annoying when he's pissed. He'll start being all unreasonable and blames it all on anyone but him. So naturally he blamed it on me. And naturally I yelled at him and my mom. What kind of parents blame their child for a car accident? It's like saying:
"Oh, if I hadn't gone to school, my wallet wouldn't have gotten stolen"
So you shouldn't go to school in case your wallet gets stolen? If I had known we were gonna be in an accident, of course I wouldn't go out. It should have just been like, if my dad had taken his time looking to his right, the car accident wouldn't have happened. It's just the day when everything goes wrong, so the accident was unavoidable because my dad always takes time looking to his right and left, even when he's in a rush. And I normally would have gotten Astrid's present two weeks ago.
But it's all good, they said sorry. Well my dad did it indirectly. Or maybe he's still pissed. I really can't tell.
Anywaaays, I went home like 3 hours later, and Maria, Sarah, Astrid and Dana came over. They thought my brother was joking when he told them I was in a car accident x). So we went to Maria's and wore our vampire-ish outfits. After that we booked the lounge at the clubhouse and got pizzas and Maria's iPod speakers. Then people started to come.
Not many people came though, Astrid invited like 20 people but there were only 10 of us.
We just danced a lot and being all stripper-ish.
At one point I was just lying down on the floor with Sheila and Mildred while everybody was dancing because I was pretty tired and the floor was oddly comfortable.
Sarah paid me to strip for her. The money is under my shoulder strap. Hahahaha.

But they finally stopped. We watched Hard Candy after a few hours. It was about a teenage girl and a pedophile.
SPOILERS:
There's one part when Ellen Page castrate the pedophile. The guys were freaked out. You could see the pain in their faces aand they all complained what a lunatic Ellen Page was. Except for Zack, I think he was turned on by her bad-ass-ness.
Then we went to the playground and played cards, Bullshit and Spoons. How can they all tell I was lying!??
So theeeese are the pressies I got:
From Maria. "I'm a very sporty girl" shirt. Sarcasm intended I'm sure x) And she got me a camel in a snow globe thing.
And Sarah just came over to give me these! Earphones for my MP3 and my iPod that I shall buy soon in a few months. x)This was a long post xD..
